Rapper Jim Jones has become a co-owner of a semi-professional American football team.
The Diplomats hitmaker is now a co-owner of Virginia’s Richmond Roughriders, and on Thursday (07Dec17) an official announcement will be made about his role with the arena league team, according to AllHipHop.com.
“It’s official, Richmond Roughriders would like to introduce Roc Nation’s recording artist Jim Jones as our partner in our Arena Football team,” Roughriders’ owner Gregg Fornario says. “Jim brings a lot to the table and we are excited to have him on board.”
The announcement comes weeks after Jones reunited with Diplomats group members Juelz Santana, Cam’ron, and Freaky Zekey to release a new album and documentary about their comeback.
